About the Role:
Royal Metro College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our admissions process, assisting students throughout their enrollment journey, and providing administrative support across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to creating a smooth and welcoming experience for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions Support:
- Coordinate and assist students in applying for suitable programs and courses.
- Gather necessary information and documentation, review applications, and prepare admission documents.
- Guide students through the enrollment process, addressing questions and helping ensure all steps are completed accurately.
Student & Instructor Assistance:
- Help instructors coordinate classes, including class scheduling and preparation.
- Support students and instructors by preparing and distributing class materials.
General Administrative Duties:
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as ordering inventory, organizing office supplies, and maintaining office files and records.
- Coordinate with other departments to organize events, prepare materials, and ensure smooth communication across college functions.
- Support in handling inquiries, maintaining communication with students, and providing updates as needed.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and organizing college events, including scheduling, setup, and event coordination.
Additional Duties:
- Complete other tasks as assigned that fall within the administrative scope of the position.
Qualifications
Education:
- A diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or Marketing is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service/office administration.
Languages:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Job Type: Full-time, on-site.
