We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our institution as a Campus Dean / Senior Education Administrator (SEA).

The Senior Education Administrator will play a crucial role in providing leadership, strategic direction, and education administration.

CCC is one of the most competitive post-secondary and career training colleges in the Metro Vancouver Region with fast development and expansion over the recent years, dedicated to guiding

domestic students to secure long-term careers and helping international students adapt to the job market with practical skills in Canada.

Since its establishment, CCC has been striving to offer qualified learners opportunities to achieve success in a variety of certificate and diploma programs with co-op options on hospitality, business, and IT, to produce hundreds of professionals with in-demand skills every year.

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or related disciplines.

- Minimum five years of experience in a Registrar’s Office at a vocational college or university; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Duties:

The Campus Dean / SEA is responsible for overseeing various aspects of student records, enrollment, and academic policies at CCC. The role will direct, initiate, and complete complex projects related to student admissions, curriculum scheduling, assessment and evaluation, and coordination of graduation ceremonies, ensuring student engagement, staff empowerment, project

delivery, and program compliance with the provincial guidelines. The duties include but not limited to:

- Interpret and enforce college policies related to academic standing, course prerequisites, and graduation requirements.

- Liaise with the government’s accreditation, regulatory, and licensing bodies to ensure compliance with provincial standards and regulations.

- Plan, organize, direct, and control the registration process, including course scheduling, lecture delivery, classroom assignments, and the academic records system of the vocational college.

- Collaborate with academic departments to manage course offerings based on student demand and curriculum requirements.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of students’ academic performance, including grades, transcripts, and degree progress.

- Oversee the implementation, retrieval, and maintenance of student information systems, ensuring functionality, security, and data integrity.

- Provide training and support to staff, faculty, and students in using technology platforms for registration, records access, and others.

- Plan, administer, and control budgets for student support services, educational equipment, graduation ceremonies, and issuance of diplomas or certificates to eligible graduates.

- Establish and maintain relationships with

industry partners for co-op placements, including hospitality management, digital marketing, and information technology.

- Develop curriculum for certificate and diploma programs including co-op placements.

- Monitor student progress and collect feedback to assess the effectiveness of co-op placements

- Oversee records and generate reports on co-op participation and outcomes

- Transfer credit evaluation: Evaluate transcripts from other institutions on ESL programs, collaborate with academic departments to assess the equivalency of transferred courses, and

ensure consistency in credit transfer policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English or French. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a significant asset for communicating smoothly with the diverse leadership team and students at the college.

- In-depth knowledge of BC and Canadian post-secondary college education systems, governance, and policies.

- Proven record of effective team management to improve the quality of student services, staff productivity, and efficiency.

- Demonstrated ability to provide direction and manage complex projects to their successful conclusion.

- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

- Demonstrated experience using an enterprise SIS including systems testing, systems, and business process analysis and documentation, preferably in a post-secondary adult education

environment.

- Demonstrated understanding of strategic enrollment management concepts and academic policies and processes that contribute to a quality undergraduate experience.

- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations on immigration and vocational training.

Hourly Salary: $70.00 per hour

Annual Salary: $109,200.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 17:00

Supplemental pay types: Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate: Burnaby, BC V5H 0A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: Education Administration: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
