Job Description: CIRA High School is a private, dual-stream school offering students Grades 9 to 12 a BC Certified Dogwood Diploma. We provide an intensive, regular high school program as well as an arts-oriented curriculum for students interested in pursuing a career in interactive Arts. We are one of the only Arts-Focused Independent Schools in Vancouver, Canada. Our school is dedicated to providing students with an outstanding preparation for life and career outside of secondary education. We are currently in search of qualified candidates to teach Grade 9-12 Science (Biology/maths Teacher), with positions beginning next in the fall term, January 6th 2025 Applicants will be evaluated based on their demonstrated excellence in teaching/facilitation skills and familiarity with the BC curriculum. The Science department is interdisciplinary with other faculties to collaborate closely in delivering the BC curriculum, emphasizing an understanding of the cultural and linguistic backgrounds of our international students.

Experience: 2 years of teaching experience preferred. Cross-transferable work experience Licence/Certification: BC TRB Teaching Certification (required/optional) Bachelor’s degree in science related fields
